â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Purchase a permit before visiting and arrange a guide — this is required and helps navigate the trail safely.
⏰Visit during or after the rainy season if you want to see Jeram Bukit Gapis waterfall with flowing water, as it can run dry otherwise.
đŸŽŸī¸The trail is described as quite tough, so wear appropriate footwear and bring water for the climb.
🚗You can access the peak from two routes — via Kampung Gapis near Nyalas-Selandar Road or via Jalan Sidang, Kampung Mantai — plan your entry point in advance.

“Bukit Gapis look too quite, no visitors or activities seem long time ago until today. Got a track/trail to the top from Kampung Gapis through a small rubber estate nearby a river(Sungai Gapis) of Nyalas-Selandar Road. You can also reach the peak from Jalan Sidang, Kampung Mantai. Jeram Bukit Gapis now already dryness without a water flow except the rainy day season, whatever the landscape still look natural with a spectacular view...”

Overview

Bukit Gapis offers a guided hiking trail starting from Kampung Gapis, winding through a rubber estate alongside Sungai Gapis river before climbing to the hilltop. A permit is required and guides are available, making the trail accessible for beginner hikers as remains offering a genuine challenge. The quiet, natural setting suits families looking for an off-the-beaten-path outdoor experience.
