Simply walk in to DESARU Fruit Farm as we didn't manage to prebook any tour in advance (was a last minute decision). Became the 1st couple to sign up tour by 9.10am 😁 Amazed by the huge area, organized facilities, clean environment. Atv ride is so exciting & fun. Warmly greet by the friendly staffs especially our Fruit Farm Tour Guide Hisam & Kitchen Team Kak Nor. For Hisam, very good interaction between the whole group of tourists with him, always wear big smile and provide very educational information to us. When we stepped into Dining area, also being quickly ushered to our seating of 2 per table (did not mix with other group of tourists). Kak Not serve us with hot cekodok and immediately prepare a serving of fried banana upon my husband request. So yummy, so crunchy! A decent portion of 7course lunch served to our table, with unlimited refills of rice, snacks, drinks and fruits buffet. Delicious and the Asam Pedass Stingray Fish with passion fruits is the best! Crunchy fried squid with dragon fruit dipping sauce, chicken chop in markisa sauce really surprise us. Kak Nor had the most service ever, came to ask for food review upon seeing us finishing our food, if require improvement. We enjoyed the animals petting so much too. Glad we came here during this Xmas holiday. Will definitely recommend friends to here and must have Hisam as tour guide too ^.^

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Excellent for families with children of all ages who want hands-on outdoor learning paired with genuine adventure. The fruit tastings and petting zoo carry younger children, the ATV adds excitement for older kids and adults. Ask for Hisham or Qai by name — the guide quality makes a significant difference to the experience.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

⏰Request guides Hisham or Qai specifically — reviewers consistently rate them as exceptional
đŸŽŸī¸The self-drive ATV seats four and covers the full farm — it is widely considered the highlight of the visit
🚗Tours continue in light rain — an umbrella or light rain jacket is useful and not a reason to reschedule

“We walked in at 2.30pm, non peak in January. And were the only ones on our tour- special mention to indoor petting zoo Qai and our fruit farm tour Hisham!! Both were to hospitable, knowledgeable and kind to us!! Hisham gave the best walking fruit tour- is funny, knowledgeable, attentive and always offered to take photos for us (his framing is the best!) đŸĨš I also felt like a child after collecting all my Indoor Petting Zoo stamps- for which we get to collect specialised keychains! The chops and keychains were specially customised based on the animals of their petting farm. All the indoor & outdoor animals are treated as beloved pets, facilities very clean and all are chubby and happy- you can simply tell how well they are taken care of! Fruit tour with indoor/outdoor pet entry was RM80 + RM 25 together. You get a fruit box (sweet & delicious!) at the end of the tour and a pack of hay treats to feed the Alpaca/Goats/Capybara ❤ī¸ I had so much fun as an adult thanks to Hisham & Qai- looking forward to bringing my family in future! We got to taste, touch and smell all the variety of fruits and vegetables on our 1.2km walk~”

“Came here wanted to do a tour plus atv. Ended up we took the self drive atv which could fit 4 and it was the best decision. The tour guide was entertaining and engaging. We stopped over the 100 acres of land to try different fruits and had a final stop at the outdoor petting farm where we could fit some animals such as camels, goats, chickens and it was fun. End of the tour they gave us a fruit platter and a fruit basket to take home. Tour was around 1hr. We had fun. RM599 for the self drive.”

“Excellent tour by tour guide Hisham covering almost all the details in the farm. My family enjoyed ourselves despite the drizzle. Lunch by Nor was excellent. Sweet sour Prawn was very fresh. Chicken with passion fruit sauce was a refreshing taste.”
