“Heard of this place for many years but didn't get a chance to go till recently. It was an impromptu decision to go at 3pm that day. The official Facebook offered very good information. 2 numbers to WA call (Mr and Mrs tan). I called via WA and reached Mrs Tan. Mrs Tan quickly confirmed tonight 8pm has vacancy and via WA message provided all relevant information very fast. So basically the boat ride is RM 18 per pax (below 120cm child price is RM11). The ticker price includes the mini farm entry. If you want to have dinner there prior to boat ride, you can order the set menu (no ala carte) on WA quickly. A deposit of RM 50 is required to secure booking via tng or paynow. Mrs Tan also provided directional guidance on how to get there. The place is well maintained and toilets are cleaned. The farm pets and animals are caged but well maintained. Animal feed can be purchased at RM1 each. We had fun at the mini zoo prior to dinner. Mrs Tan will appoint the dining table number to you. You are free to roam around such time when you ready to go restaurant to eat. Due to limited kitchen facilities, they serve the dishes with the earliest table first. If you see the place is crowded, advisable to eat dinner earlier. There are 2 boat rides. One at 730pm and one at 8pm. Gathering time is 10 mins prior the boarding time to put in safe vest. The boat ride is 30 mins and very worth the trip because it is very rare you can see firefly in mangrove / river area. The captain of the boat even try to move close to the mangrove tree so you have an opportunity to catch a firefly with your hand and make a wish. The river is clean, the place not over crowded with people. The peaceful river with the gentle breeze made the whole experience awesome. Highly recommend anyone for this experience.”

“The road in was a bit bumpy and they don't sell tickets on websites so do WhatsApp them to book your tickets. They're priced at RM32 per pax. There's a restaurant that you can pre-book your dinner for with a menu that you can select from and there's a mini animal farm where you can pet and feed the animals. The boat ride was calm and soothing; they have slots every half hour. The boat will bring you along the johor river and bring you near enough to the trees where fireflies are, so near you can touch them. Truly an experience not to be missed!”

“This is one of the 2 firefly viewing operators in this location. One is located beside the main road, while this one is situated further inside, 5 minutes by properly maintained gravel road. This site is better suited for families with young kids as it has a small animal feeding farm, playground and nice picture spots. It also has in house restaurant. The food is tasty and affordable. Good to have dinner here while waiting for boat boarding later at night. As this site is further in and secluded, I believe the fireflies view in this area is fantastic too. Many trees are lit up densely by fireflies. It was an amazing experience. No phones and cameras allowed while on boat to preserve the nature serenity. Is a good move so people disconnect from the virtual world to take in the real sights.”

“It's at isolated place, you better have your own transport, very very difficult to get a taxi there... the land lord helped us to drop to town offcource with a charge... they are friendly. If you have never seen fireflies then it is the place else you can skip. They also have little farm with birds etc....for kids to spend sometime”
