Indoor karting in KL's city centre with electric karts, LED-lit barriers, and a surprisingly airy basement track. Suited for casual riders and first-timers. Sessions run short, and taller adults over 6ft may not fit comfortably.

Great fun! We had the pro-carts and yes they are electric with simulated engine noise! But nevertheless good fun in Berjaya Times square basement, staff were young, friendly and helpful. Although a relatively short experience, we felt it was long enough, especially when you are centimetres off the floor. Price wise not too expensive or unaffordable, you cannot do activities like this for nothing! Recommended for inexperienced or amateur go-karters, if you are a pro-driver go somewhere more serious - you should know that! Overall great fun in an unexpected location. Sorry no photos this time as we looked like dorks in the hairnets, safety helmets and rubber shoes

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with younger children wanting a quick karting fix in central KL without travelling far. First-timers and casual riders get the most from the accessible track layout. Families with experienced racers or very tall members may leave underwhelmed by the speed and fit constraints.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Arrive during off-peak weekday hours to get more track time with less waiting
Check kart sizing before your session if any rider is over 6ft — comfort varies significantly
🎟️Bring your own payment method as damage liability charges can apply
🚗The track is in the B3 level of Berjaya Times Square — accessible directly from the mall

Had an awesome experience at GoKart BTSKL! The track was exciting, the karts were in good condition, and the overall environment felt well-managed and safe. Big shoutout to Amirul and Danish — both were super friendly, helpful, and professional. Their great service really made the experience more enjoyable. Staff like them make a huge difference. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommended!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tried out the indoor Go-Kart experience at B3 level, Berjaya Times Square. The track is located in a basement carpark but is surprisingly airy and well-lit, with LED barriers giving it a fun, vibrant feel. Registration was a bit slow but manageable. Staff provided basic safety gear like shower caps and helmets. After a short briefing, riders could choose between Basic or Pro karts, depending on preference. The experience was fun, especially for casual riders or families. However, the price is on the higher side—RM40 to RM50 for a 10-minute session, with some discounts available for theme park visitors and staff. Overall, a quick and enjoyable indoor activity in the city, but maybe more worth it if you go during off-peak or with promotions.

Overview

Go-Kart BTSKL sits in the B3 basement of Berjaya Times Square with well-lit surroundings and colourful LED barriers. Electric karts produce simulated engine noise rather than fumes. Staff quality varies by visit — some sessions have been praised for friendliness, others criticised. Tall riders over 6ft face a tight fit due to kart sizing. Damage liability charges apply, which can surprise first-time visitors.
