“This stable is like a dream maybe because i am from KL, u dont get to see such care n passion the stables give to their horses. Over at Kok Mak Stable, Wan and Ijat was so friendly and hospitable. We spent a lot of time chatting n learning so much from both of them about horses n the importance of taking good care of their well being like the food, cleanliness and mental state of the horses. It’s such a joy and delight to see them release the horses to just run freely grazing the grasses at the stable. It rain for a bit n the sight of horses playing in the rain was so touching. Wan shared with us why their horses r so calm n stable. One because they train them daily of course n secondly is because the horses r happy. We went for their outride trail for two days in a row. I cant describe how lovely it is to ride with their horses. And the view and scenery of the surrounding was just surreal. It is not for speed lovers. Those riders who just only want speed pls don’t come to this stable. They dont allow u to gallop because they care for their horses. So if you’re a rider like me who not only love the sport of horse riding but also have a compassion n love for this amazing animal n wish to have a good experience riding n appreciating the beauty of the surrounding has to offer, i highly recommend u to come to Kok Mak Stable. Stay at their homestay too. It is clean and comfortable. N u get to see the horses day n night. Every night before we head to bed we will walk over to horses n pet them n say good night to them too. Pls encourage more of such approach when it comes to horse riding. Dont treat horses like a toy. Care for them n show compassion n love to them. Thank Wan, Ijat n the rest of the team at Kok Mak Stable. Your stable will definitely be my yearly visit the very least, hopefully i can find the time to come more often.”

“2 times repeat for vacation here with family. 😘 2019 & 2023. A superb location, well decorated, cozy environment, clean, spacious and economic home stay that is worth to stay for a trip with family and friends. Not many place that have provided an amazing horse riding experience. For a non rider I will truly seek for more rides in the future. (Ride in kampung area) nice view! My daughter loved her ride. Apart from the amazing riding experience and facilities, The owner beja and paan are very warm and friendly. We love it! Thanks ya. Sure will come again next time”

“Kok Mak Stable is an interesting holiday destination. It has a large 5-bedroom bungalow, perfect for a family gathering. During my 3-day stay with 4 other families, we enjoyed our vacation very much. The homestay atmosphere was peaceful and soothing, and its location is very close to Padang Besar. There are a few things that need improvement, such as some pillows need to change and a sliding door that needs maintenance. Overall, it was a good experience.”
