LEGOLAND Waterpark Malaysia
๐ Bandar, Johor
LEGOLAND Waterpark features LEGO-branded slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and water play areas built for younger children. Weekday visits avoid the largest crowds, and annual passes deliver strong value for repeat visitors.
Firsta up, this ain't no advertising for anyone. Just pure comment from a parent of a 7yr old (at time of visit). First time stepping into Legoland and I would say Legoland is specially crafted for kids from young to teens. Been to hyped wonderlands; USS and Disney, overall, I would say the feeling from all these amusement parks gave a different feeling. - USS and it's rides are catered more for older teens and above (personall). - Disney is rather all rounder - Legoland caters huge fun for younger kids with tons of activities as well (bonding, painting, etc). So overall, Legoland is definitely a must go if you have kids from a 2yr to maybe 14yrs. Adults will have fun too at the Ferrari blocks station and activities as well. P.S: I got the double park tixs to visit both the underwater park and the theme park. ** The underwater park which is similar to Singapore's Sentosa Oceanarium and Taiwan's Xpark Aquarium but a muchx2 smaller scale of it.** So if you visited Oceanarium or Xpark and think it's not worth to visit a SAME but smaller scale park, look away and just get the single park tix. But hey, try it since you're already there :)
๐ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 2-12 as the primary audience โ younger teenagers may find the slide intensity modest. Weekday visits on Tuesday or Wednesday offer promotional discounts and noticeably shorter queues. Pack snacks if permitted, as internal food pricing is significantly above standard.

โHad a really fun family day here! The waterpark is clean, well-maintained, and the whole place feels safe and kid-friendly. The slides and play areas are great for children, and there are also enough activities to keep adults entertained too. Staff were helpful and the overall vibe was enjoyable and organized. Facilities & comfort: Changing rooms and toilets were clean, lockers were available, and there are plenty of seating areas to rest in between rides. Food and drink options are convenient, and itโs easy to walk around with clear signage. Great place for a full-day outing. Annual ticket / Annual pass: Highly recommended if you plan to visit more than onceโgood value in the long run. It makes the experience less rushed because you donโt feel like you must do everything in one day. Also very convenient for families, especially during weekends or school holidays.โ

โWe visited with family and stayed at the hotel. The accommodations and cleanliness were excellent, and we were looking for Lego gifts for the kids. The entertainment options are quite expensive. However, the atmosphere and games at Legoland are quite engaging, although some attractions need to be improved in terms of cleanliness. We recommend it for families planning a vacation with children. Thank you.โ

โLocation The resort is located at 7 Persiaran Medini Utara 3, 79100 Iskandar Puteri (formerly Nusajaya), Johor Darul Taโzim, Malaysia. It sits within the Iskandar Puteri region, which is quite accessible from Johor Bahru and even from Singapore (if youโre coming across the Causeway) because itโs in southern Malaysia. To get there: from Johor Bahru city centre, taxis/ride-share are convenient. If from Singapore, factoring border crossing time is wise. Ticket Price & Options Here are the latest general ticketing details (note: prices can vary with promotions, nationality, date, etc). Always check the official site just before booking. For a standard 1-day Theme Park only ticket: they state โticket starts from RM 69โ online for online sale pricing. A review site gave more verbose breakdowns (for Malaysian citizens): Theme Park: RM 199 adult / RM 169 child (3-11yrs) Sea Life only: RM 89 adult / RM 69 child Water Park only: RM 149 adult / RM 129 child Combo passes: e.g., Theme Park + Sea Life; or Theme Park + Water Park + Sea Life (Triple). They also run promotions: e.g., โMidweek Saver 50% offโ for Malaysians on Tuesdays & Wednesdays (excluding public/school holidays). LEGOLANDยฎ Malaysia Resort Important: Children under age 3 enter for free. Whatโs Inside โ The Fun Highlights Lots to explore! The resort is more than just a theme park; there are themed zones, water park, aquarium, etc. Here are some of the major zones and experiences: MINILAND: One of the signature areas โ miniature versions of famous Asian landmarks built out of LEGO bricks. LEGO City, LEGO Kingdoms, Land of Adventure, Imagination, LEGO NINJAGO World: Zones filled with rides, interactive attractions, family-friendly fun. Water Park: For splashy fun โ wave pools, water slides, lazy rivers and more. Perfect for cooling off in Johorโs warm climate. SEA LIFE Aquarium: A marine-themed experience with many habitats and sea creatures โ a nice contrast to the rides. Hotel & Resort Stay: If you make it a full getaway, there is the LEGO-themed hotel on site (not just day-trip). Why Itโs a Good Visit Great for families or anyone young at heart: The mix of rides + creative LEGO elements gives a playful vibe. Unique location: Being in Johor Bahru/Iskandar Puteri means itโs accessible for Malaysians and even Singaporeans making a day or short trip. Variety: Youโre not just walking rides; there are water play zones, aquarium, mini-worlds of LEGO โ good to spend a full day (or more). Available promotions: If you time it right (weekday, online booking) you might score good savings. Some Tips & Things to Note Because many attractions are outdoors, it can get hot and sunny. Bring sun protection, water bottle, maybe change of clothes for the Water Park. S'pore To Legoland Taxi Food and merchandise inside the park tends to be pricey (like many theme parks). Bringing snacks (if allowed) or budgeting accordingly is wise. One reddit user said: > โA whopping RM44 โฆ chicken riceโ inside the park. Weekends/public holidays will be busier. If you can, picking a weekday might give you shorter waits. Check the operating hours & which zones will be open (some days certain sections may close or have maintenance). For Water Park, children under 3 may need swim diapers.โ
