PLAY VILLAGE BY OPEN PLAYHOUSE
π Ara Damansara, Selangor
A spacious indoor playground in Ara Damansara where children can play for hours across two separate play zones. Birthday party packages and add-on classes like baking and art are available.
Perfect place to bring the kids when you need them to have fun and seriously burn off energy, while you still get to enjoy a proper meal. Itβs one of those rare spots where you can actually be confident the children wonβt get boredβ¦ even after hours. Hours. And the facilities? Surprisingly comprehensive. For a modest fee, there are baking classes and art classes; fun, hands-on, and genuinely educational. Not just βplay-play,β but the kind of activities that build real-life skills and a bit of confidence too. The ambience is right: bright, welcoming, and family-friendly. The food may not be the most mind-blowing in flavour, but itβs clean, wholesome, and healthy enough for kids, which, honestly, is sometimes the bigger win. Overall, this is the kind of place you go when you want your kids happily occupied and you want to breathe again. Stress down. Energy out. Everyone wins (for the next few hours, at least).
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with energetic children aged 2β10 who need a large indoor space for an extended session. The two play zones provide variety for different ages. Parents who want to eat as kids play will find the layout accommodates this well.

βFrom initial discussions to actual event day, the staff and especially the planner, Ms Natasha, were extremely accommodating and very pleasant to work with. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed my daughterβs party and the food was delicious too! Too delicious that I didnt even get to try some of the food! π€£ For the price paid it was worth it! We ordered additional whole baked chicken, none was left. Spaghetti bolognese was also finished and the cake (also from them) was absolutely delicious!!! Thanks Open Playhouse for making my daughterβs party very special!β

βVisited Play Village on Sunday afternoon, thankfully, no crowds. There wasnβt much happening at the animal zone outside. The hamster was sleeping, and there were only a few small tortoises and fishes. My sons were hoping to see rabbits, so they were a little disappointed. The indoor playground, however, was nice and quite spacious, especially considering itβs inside a cafΓ©. Itβs a good setup for kids to stay occupied while parents sit and relax. Food was below average. We ordered a matcha and a latte and waited about 30 minutes. The matcha wasnβt whisked properly, I could taste clumps of powder halfway through the cup. The latte lacked coffee flavor and tasted quite flat. Service was okay. Overall, itβs decent if youβre going mainly for the indoor playground, but not somewhere Iβd go for the food.β

βFound this play when I googled for restaurants with a playground. It's rm30/ person inclusive of 10+ 6 % tax. Food size was satisfactory and quality was good. We were here for about 2.5 hours and they were only a handful of other families with their children visiting. There were actually 2 play areas here with the main one being very big with various facilities including a trampoline. Children definitely had fun but they hoped for more slides with ball pits.β
