During the visit, can also explored the Putrajaya Story exhibition, which presented the remarkable history and transformation of Malaysia’s administrative capital. The exhibition featured numerous photographs, models, and informative displays that illustrated the city’s development — from its early planning stages to its emergence as a symbol of modern governance and national unity. Through the visual materials, the students were able to appreciate how Putrajaya reflects Malaysia’s vision of progress, innovation, and cultural harmony. 🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with primary-school-age children visiting Putrajaya who want a quick educational stop. The trick-photo murals add a fun element for younger kids. Pair it with the Putrajaya boat cruise for a more complete half-day. Those seeking deep architectural or engineering detail may find coverage thin in places.

This is a good activity to complement the cruise and also allows visitors to learn the salient facts abt Putrajaya! Loved how the sections were set out in good order..also a lot of murals you can take trick photos which entertained the kids. The onsite guide was effective, guiding with short bits of interesting info. Only comment, I wish it was a little bit bigger and had spaced out. When crowds are in there, it can be difficult to take good photos since the exhibits are closely placed. The last gallery we call the Avatar tunnel was cool! - Hope for future expansion...its a good start for now !

Overview

Putrajaya Story documents the city's transformation from planning through to completion using photographs, architectural models, and informative displays arranged in a logical sequence. A mural section lets families take trick photos that children enjoy. An on-site guide delivers short, focused commentary. The exhibition is compact — expect 45–90 minutes. Some visitors find the information density uneven, with text-heavy sections and gaps in construction history.
