Small petting zoo with birds as their main attraction. Located further in from the entrance to Gunung Lambak Resort, so need to walk a bit to reach the place, but not that far. A great place for a quick visit with young kids or animal lover. Entrance fee and operation hour as per picture. Open Thursday-Sunday, school and public holiday. Entrance fee and animal feeding need to be paid by cash only. you may purchase sunflower seeds (RM1) to feed the birds and vege (RM2) to feed animals like Emu, donkey and goats. We purchased too many seeds and should’ve bought more vege instead coz the animals especially the goats are eating soooo fast and keep coming for more. Just make sure to follow the feeding guideline by the staff. My young kids enjoyed themselves immensely. recommended!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with young children who enjoy hands-on bird and small animal interactions. The parrot experience is the clear highlight. Expect one to two hours on-site maximum. Arrive during cooler morning hours and bring mosquito repellent — the outdoor setting is exposed and insects are abundant.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Bring mosquito repellent — multiple reviewers flag the outdoor area as particularly mosquito-heavy
Buy vegetables rather than seeds for goat feeding — goats eat quickly and seeds run out fast
🎟️Cash only for entry and animal feed — no card payments accepted
🚗Open Thursday to Sunday plus school and public holidays only — confirm before travelling

Overview

RMZ Petting Land sits inside Gunung Lambak Resort — a short uphill walk from the resort entrance. Parrots are the standout attraction, trained to perch on visitors and described as surprisingly friendly with appearances. Baby goats roam freely and can be fed directly. Three emus and assorted birds round out the species. Animal feed (seeds and vegetables) is purchased at the entrance. Mosquito repellent is strongly recommended — reviewers consistently flag the insect presence.
