TGV Cinemas Kulai
π Bandar Indahpura, Johor
Multi-hall cinema in Bandar Indahpura with comfortable seating, clean toilets, student and children's ticket pricing, and ample parking. Located separately from the main mall shops.
βKerja kita belum selesai.β watching Ejen Ali: The Movie 2 at TGV Aeon Kulai was a smooth and positive experience. The ticket price for students was just RM12 and for kids RM10. Visiting on a weekday meant the crowd was still quite big, the hall was full, but it still created a calm atmosphere. The ticket kiosk worked without any issues, and the staff were polite and helpful when scanning the tickets. The cinema hall was easy to locate without needing to ask the staff for directions. The hall itself was well soundproofed, with no disturbances from neighboring screening rooms. The seats in the hall were comfortable to use, as they didnβt use PU-type seats. Overall, I would visit again if thereβs a good movie to watch.
π Family Action Verdict
A practical cinema choice for families in the Kulai and Bandar Indahpura area, particularly those on a budget. Student and kids pricing reduces costs meaningfully. The clean facilities, good seating, and ample parking make it comfortable. The isolated position from the main mall means sparse pre or post-movie dining options within walking distance.

βThis TGV is way much better than the one at Tebrau despite the location being odd because it's way too secluded from the rest of the shops as if the tgv is disintegrated from the mall. The goods: 1) There are sufficient waiting areas for patrons to sit while waiting for their movie queues unlike some other thoughtless tgv operator putting too much their promotional displays neglecting the customer wellbeing, let the customer stand waiting. 2) The price ticket is surprisingly cheaper! 3) There are a couple seats! 4) The seats gradient layout is much nicer 5) The air conditioning seems colder (this may be subjective according to halls) The bads: 1) The floor walkway guiding light seems a little bit overlit which might distract while the movie is playing. (again, this might be subjective to individual halls)β

Overview
TGV Cinemas Kulai is a full-service multiplex with comfortable seats, clean facilities, and a cafΓ©. Student and children's ticket pricing makes it one of the more budget-friendly cinema options in Johor. The cinema building sits apart from the main mall retail area. Sufficient waiting areas and pram access make it workable for families with young children. Technical failures have occurred historically, so calling ahead for long-distance trips is sensible.
