Had a lovely visit to the Bentong Farm with my family. Staff were friendly and proactive, and there were lots of opportunities to get up close to the animals. We went on a weekday and practically had the whole place to ourselves! Aside from one other family, we seemed to be the only visitors there for half a day, so it was very peaceful. The path was quite stroller-friendly and the free mangosteens at the exit were delicious. :) From a Singaporean tourist’s perspective, this was definitely worth it, especially if you have kids (cheaper than our zoo with a variety of different animals + close interactions + less crowded/hectic). The rainbow lorikeets were super friendly and kept perching on us xD You can top up RM15 for an animal feeding bucket, fish feed and yummy ice cream. They also had ATV and dinosaur rides as a separate package, though we didn’t try it. Mozzie repellant is a must!

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Families with children who want hands-on animal interaction without major-zoo crowds will find this exceptional. Staff engagement is the differentiator β€” they guide children through each enclosure, explain animal behaviour, and make even a one-year-old's visit genuinely memorable.

β€œWe had so much fun coming with our one year old. It’s free entrance for kids below 90cm. We spent about 1.5 hours there. It wasn’t too hot (11:30am-1pm). Everything here was so well maintained and clean. We got to be around so many different animals and honestly even more fun than the KL bird park we went earlier. We especially enjoyed talking to all the workers there who are so knowledgeable about the animals. They were friendly and so willing to share! Shout out to the staff at the enclosed area for the birds, you really know a lot and so kind! Do put on mosquito repellent patch/ spray because the mosquitos here are wildddd. We walked in and didn’t buy ticket online prior to that but you can do that (at least 24 hours in advance). And it’s worth spending the extra RM15 to top up for homemade ice cream and food to feed the animals! *it’s also stroller friendly!”

β€œA great place to visit with family and friends. As stated, there are many species of plants and animals around the farm. It’s a wonderful place to get up close with birds, goats, lambs, and other animals. The staff are friendly and took time to explain about the animals in each area. All the animals looked healthy and well taken care of. The place is also stroller-friendly, which makes it convenient for families with young kids. There are small shops around to rest and grab water or snacks. We underestimated the size of the area β€” it can easily take at least half a day to explore everything at a relaxed pace. Will definitely come back to visit again.”

β€œ1. Redemption of voucher booked on Klook was simple and easy. Please add on the pass (RM 15) voucher thingy as they include food for the animals and homemade ice cream (WHICH ARE WORTH IT). 2. The staffs (especially Ms. Nadia) were very welcoming and took time explaining each animal in detail while helping us to take pretty photos. 3. Animals were kept in a healthy and conducive environment where they will interact with you (most of the animals that you see can be touched and/or fed!). 4. The Durian ice cream tasted like real Durian which was good. Trust me we been to most petting zoos in Malaysia and this one takes the cake!”
