A compact, engaging aquarium inside The Shore Shopping Gallery. Best for toddlers and young kids, with a hands-on touch pool and 3D experiences that make marine life genuinely exciting.
Truly enjoyed my time here with my kids. They love it. Took so many pictures! Will definitely return.
π Family Action Verdict
The Shore Oceanarium is a great casual outing for families with young children, especially toddlers experiencing marine life for the first time. The hands-on touch pool β where kids can handle starfish, baby sharks, and even peek inside a shark egg β is a genuinely memorable highlight.

βGreat place to go! Overall ok ! Any activity, many exciting mainan for children. Cume, no toilet inside, not so big area and if crowd no control it will became too sesak. Please repair and check maintenance each section. Nak tengok wayang unable due to place too small and need to quote too long.β

βAlhamdulillah, this was our first short trip with our daughter. After discovering this place through TikTok, we decided to give it a try. Please note that this attraction is more of an aquarium gallery and should not be compared to Aquaria KLCC. The variety of marine species is limited, but it is sufficient for a basic and enjoyable experience, especially for young children. My child is under 2 years old, so it was more about fun and exposure. Admission is free for children aged 2 years and below. Ticket prices are RM30 for senior citizens and children (IC required) and RM40 for adults. Fish feeding is available with an additional RM10 charge. The space can feel a bit crowded during peak hours as the venue is relatively small. However, the place is clean, the ticket counter staff were friendly, and the RELA officers were polite and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and suitable for a casual family visit, especially for those with young children.β

βEntry is RM40 per person, and we added RM10 for fish feed (which turned out to be raw fish chunks). The feeding happens at the very end of the route, right before the gift shop. Nothing really caught our eye there apart from oceanarium-themed souvenirsβmostly random toys and knick-knacks otherwise. We visited on a quiet Wednesday afternoon and had the first section almost to ourselves. The highlight was the touch pool, where staff let us handle starfish, baby sharks, and even mama and papa sharks. She shone a phone light through a shark egg to show the baby insideβthat was awesome! She also explained how to tell male and female sharks apart by their underbellies. Super engaging and educational. The main tanks are limited, as many reviews mentionβsmall oceanarium with some unlabeled exhibits, so about a third of the time we werenβt sure what we were looking at. Still fine for the price. Beyond sea life, there were insects, scorpions, hedgehogs, frog exhibits, and preserved specimens. The layout loops back to the start (u-turn and go right), with a short 3D show about a sea turtleβs journey from egg to beach that was interesting enough to watch fully. Iβm giving it 4 starsβroom for improvement on labeling, empty tanks, insect area lighting, etc.βbut overall satisfied for RM40. Huge thanks for the touch pool and shark egg demo; that made the visit memorable!β
