Universal Bowling
📍 Mutiara Rini, Johor
Is this your venue? Claim this listing →
A budget bowling alley in Johor with very affordable rates. Extensive documented equipment problems - faulty lanes, inaccurate scoring, cracked balls, and lighting failures - affect nearly every visit on record.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best considered only for families with very low expectations who prioritise price above all else. Children who need uninterrupted play to stay engaged will find the frequent lane stoppages frustrating.

“The place mostly has schools practicing their throws, at the side of the bowling there’s also a place to play pool but looks a little old. When playing, the pins kept dropping by itself and I experienced a fault 5 times. Although there are staff to help, I felt that the gameplay wasn’t as fun and could be better.”

Overview
Universal Bowling in Mutiara Rini offers some of the lowest bowling rates in the area with walk-in options available. The facility includes pool tables alongside the bowling lanes. Equipment reliability is the dominant issue: reviews document lanes that malfunction repeatedly mid-game, pins that fall without being knocked, scoring systems that fail to count spares correctly, cracked bowling balls, and at least one visit where lanes lost lighting and air conditioning entirely.
