Clean, spacious indoor play cafe in Johor Bahru where children aged 7 and under play freely as parents dine nearby. Socks are mandatory for all entering the play area.

Very spacious for kids to run around and play. Very clean. Good place to let your toddlers play and for parents to relax. Food wise is ok. Petit croissant only RM 4 but it's crispy and buttery. Loved it. Fried mushrooms are very fluffy and crispy. Kimchi baked rice was just ok for us RM 20++. Drinks also good. Definitely a good place to bring your kids. Budget food RM 20++ drinks RM 10++ per person. But it's worth it cuz the place is well maintained.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with toddlers to age 7 in JB who want a clean, contained play space alongside a proper meal. The layout genuinely lets parents eat and talk without constant supervision. Kids aged 8 and above will outgrow the play equipment quickly. Bring socks for everyone or purchase at the counter.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Bring socks for every family member — entry to the play area requires them, or buy at the counter
A per-child cleaning fee applies in addition to food costs — factor this into your budget
🎟️The main entrance has child safety locks, so children cannot exit unsupervised
🚗Best for children 7 and under — older kids will find the play area limiting

Great concept where kids can play and your dinner table is nearby. Kids can eat and be motivated to finish eating before or after they play. With $10 cleaning fee per child, that’s what you pay for on top of the slightly higher food price. Not bad idea and great for 7yo and below. 8-12 probably may not be able to play too long. Main door has a lock so kids cannot run out easily.

Overview

Wán Masak Family Cafe pairs a generous play zone with a proper kitchen menu — chicken chop, seafood toast pizza, and tomyam are reviewer favourites. The dining tables sit adjacent to the play area so parents maintain sightlines without hovering. Safety-locked main doors prevent children from wandering out. A cleaning fee per child applies on top of food costs. Suitable for parent catch-ups where kids' entertainment is the priority.
