1 / 3ZooMania De' Butterfly Farm Cameron Highlands
📍 Brinchang, Pahang
Compact covered zoo in Brinchang featuring rabbits, alpacas, goats, peacocks, ducks, turtles, porcupines, and reptiles. Entirely covered, making it a practical wet-weather stop. Butterflies are few — animals are the primary draw.
ZooMania is 8 mins walk from Copthorne hotel. There are plenty to see and it was fun for the kids as they can feed the rabbits, alpacas and goats. They have interesting small animals, reptiles, peacocks & ducks. Some are not so common elsewhere. However during our visit there wasn’t any butterflies!! There’s anything special about the aquarium too. The place is well maintained..We finished our visit in about 1 hour. And the place is covered so it’s possible to visit even if it rains. Recommended.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with young children who love hands-on animal interaction and need a covered wet-weather activity during a Cameron Highlands trip. The variety of animals across the covered enclosures keeps toddlers and primary-age kids engaged.

“Highly recommended place for animal lovers! It’s one of the newer tourist attractions and for an affordable entrance fee of RM15. There’s also a petting zoo where you can get up close with animals. The butterfly encounter is probably one of the best I’ve had.”

“Visited ZooMania De' Butterfly Farm during our trip to Cameron Highlands. Ticket price is RM15 for adults and RM10 for children, which I feel is reasonable for the variety of animals inside. Despite the name, there are not many butterflies, so don’t come expecting a large butterfly garden. However, the place is more like a mini zoo with quite a wide range of animals. We saw birds and chickens, peacock, ducks, geese, rabbits, lambs, alpaca, hedgehog, ferret, raccoon, skunk, wild cat, snake, and various insects like scorpion, tarantula, gecko, mantis and beetles. 🐍🦜🐇 Kids will probably enjoy it as there’s a lot to see and some animals up close. The place is not very big, so it’s suitable for a short visit rather than a long one. Overall, it’s a decent stop if you’re nearby, just manage your expectations — come for the animals, not the butterflies.”

“A Cool Experience at Butterfly Farm Mini Zoo, Cameron Highlands 🌟 Rating: 3.5/5 stars Visited the Butterfly Farm Mini Zoo and it was a mixed bag. Entry fee is RM15 per adult - reasonable for what you get. The place is a bit tricky to navigate, especially for elderly folks, as it's downhill via staircase, so watch your step! Lots of colourful birds and a few animals like ferrets, fox, meerkats, rabbits, small kangaroos, sheep, and the cutest alpaca 🐑. It's cold (in a good way, haha), educational, and a nice break from the usual Cameron Highlands hikes. Only thing is, some animals weren't as visible as I'd hoped, but overall a good experience, especially with kids or for animal lovers. Worth a visit if you're around! 😊”

Overview
ZooMania operates as a hands-on mini zoo in a fully covered space, protecting visitors from Cameron Highlands' frequent rain. Children can feed and interact with rabbits, alpacas, and goats directly. The animal collection includes peacocks, ducks, turtles, porcupines, and some less common exotic pets and reptiles. with the name, butterfly sightings are sparse and should not be the main expectation. Additional feed bags can be purchased inside.
