“Coming at 7am, this was the view will welcome you upon arrival on the top of Bendera Hill. The sun rays was so majestic, so to those who have tanned skins, you will look beautifully golden in this place. The view is so mesmerised by the sea, the sun and the land.”

“I went hiking there it was very fun. Once you reach the top there is plenty of delicious food you can ride in an electric car which brings you to many parts of the top like the "Monkey Cafe".”

“Surprisingly busy for a weekday at this time of year, so the "normal line" was about a 45 minute queue. You have to pay double for the "fast line" and there is a difference in admission price for locals and non-locals. The English brochures were all out. The Habitat experience at the top is an additional admission fee, but worth it. You get to see wild critters in their natural environment and the skywalk offers a unique view. The area has a lot to explore for the day if you have the time.”

Overview
The Penang Hill funicular climbs through dense forest to a summit with panoramic views over George Town and the Strait of Malacca. At the top, families can explore on foot, ride electric cars to spots like Monkey Cafe, or pay extra for The Habitat nature experience. Saturday mornings attract long queues — a fast-track option exists at double the standard fare. Early arrivals catch golden-hour light over the sea.
