FARM FRESH @ UPM
π Serdang, Selangor
A genuine working farm at UPM Serdang offering guided tractor trailer tours, animal feeding sessions, and farm-fresh dairy products including soft-serve ice cream.
We had a wonderful experience here with the OKU kids on 18/12/2025 from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. The ranger who guided us was very friendly and explained everything in a clear, easy-to-understand way that was engaging and not boring at all. The staff member handling the soft ice cream orders was extremely patient and managed all 69 cups calmly and smoothly, without any rush or chaos. The soft milk ice cream is a must-try β itβs absolutely delicious. The new lime and lemon tea ice cream is also very tasty. The fresh milk served in glass bottles was the best fresh milk Iβve ever had. There are some smells here and there since the farm uses organic methods to maintain the area, but overall it was a great experience. The OKU kids were very happy and truly enjoyed their time here.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with primary-school-age children curious about food production and farm animals. The ranger-led tractor tour is the centrepiece β engaging for children and adults alike. Families with OKU members report the venue is accessible and staff are accommodating. Visit on a weekday afternoon to avoid event closures and feeding sell-outs.

βThe best spot for a walk and some breathing exercises. The trees create a green tunnel that makes all the difference, turning the hot air into a cool, breezy sensation. I repeat, the Trees π³π³π³π³π³ Reboot-Reset-Restart, you name it, just nice. Plus, the scenery here is calming, clear blue sky, white cushy clouds, green green grass and the brownish earth. Youβll find plenty of views worth capturing, perfect for your next laptop or desktop wallpaper.β

βthe venue was having a closed door event which we didn't know about so the place was closed to public access till 2pm. it worked in our favour in the end since it was raining heavily. however, due to the event, all the feeding were sold out so the kids couldn't feed the animals. the kids enjoyed the barrel ride and the tractor ride around the farm.β

βWhen there's long weekend, I try to find something to do with the family rather than facing the screens all the time. Farm Fresh located in Seri Kembangan is a good experience for the 3 brats who love drinking their fresh milk... Proudly Malaysian made products. Spend at least half a day there touring the facilities - animal feeding, educational information, etc - and when one is hungry, there are plenty of food options inside. The most prominent one will be The Acre Restaurant where we had margherita pizza and chicken breast salad.. just to fill the tummy after walking around the vast area. It did more than enough to keep the young ones from being grumpy. They also sell fresh milk and ice cream from another place called Cream Hauz, a walking distance away from the restaurant. If I may say, the ice cream and fresh milk were very good and fresh! Advisable to visit late in the afternoon when the sun is not as hot. We visited before noon, and thank God the weather was quite cloudy that day - still hot and stuffy though. Overall a great place to let the young ones to learn more about animals such as chicken (there are many breeds), goat, deer, bird and last but not least, cows! Take a tractor ride (highlights) before leaving.β

Overview
Farm Fresh at UPM runs guided tractor-pulled trailer tours through its dairy operation, with rangers explaining the farming process clearly and engagingly. Animal feeding sessions are popular and sell out during busy periods. The soft-serve ice cream made from fresh farm milk is a consistent highlight. A green canopy of trees makes the walking sections comfortable. Organic farming methods mean natural farm odours are present throughout.
