1 / 2KidZania Kuala Lumpur
📍 Mutiara Damansara, Selangor
KidZania KL is an indoor role-play theme park with 60+ career experiences — firefighter, pilot, surgeon, chef, delivery rider — set in a child-sized city. Children earn KidZos currency and spend it across activities. Parking on-site.
We had such an amazing experience at KidZania Kuala Lumpur! 🥰 My child got to try so many different roles like being a firefighter, pilot, delivery rider, and even making ice cream. It was so fun watching him enjoy every activity and get fully involved. He didn’t even want to go home… that’s how much he loved it! 😂 The price is reasonable for the experience they get. Parking was easy and convenient. The food there was also good and family-friendly. Definitely a great place for kids to learn while having fun. We will surely come again!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 7–12 who can independently navigate the role-play concept and manage their own KidZos budget — this age group gets maximum value. Toddlers and under-5s can participate with guidance from a parent, and the abstract career framework is harder for them to engage with.

“Pro tips to make your money and time worth in Kidzania: 1) order tickets online and scan your face into the system in advance, so you can just walk-in (when you have kids, this is super fuss free) 2) ready at entrance 9.45am before their opening time 3) zoom straight to AirAsia 4) go to Famous Amos or Optometrist (check eye sight before qualifying for driving simulator) and head to driving simulator straight. Morning should have lesser crowds and don’t need to queue so long. 4) reserve the Jobs time slot (police, fireman, emergency, tealive) along the way. They have time slots every hour. 5) and then the rest depends on the child’s interests or with the goal of earning Kidzos. If is to earn Kidzos, go for the shortest time to earn +10 Kidzos as fast as possible. 6) bank in the Kidzos into RHB bank near 6pm and get a bank card, this teaches the kids that it’s not necessarily to spend all your money and the importance of saving for next time. Best for kids age 7-8 above. Our kids age 11, 9 and 6 love secret agent the most. The rest are great for experience like making the A&W meal (need to pay extra). For younger kids, it’s possible but it maybe more tiring for parents. I seen teens in Kidzania but i find it quite a waste of money. All in all, we love all the Kidzania staff and thank you for making role-play a wonderful and memorable experience for the children.”

“A Fun-Filled Day for the Whole Family! Just got back from Kidzania and wow, what an experience! The staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in – they really made the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. There are _so many_ activities to try out – honestly, you can’t finish everything in one day. Each activity takes around 20 to 30 minutes, so time flies quickly. Some activities require you to pay with Kidzos (Kidzania’s own currency), while others actually pay your kids in Kidzos – which makes it even more exciting for them! My kids learned so much and had a blast trying out different roles – from firefighters to doctors to pilots. It’s a great way for them to gain new knowledge and hands-on experience in a fun setting. We went on a weekday, so it wasn’t crowded at all – no long queues, which was a big plus. For popular activities, it’s best to book ahead so you don’t waste time waiting. Facilities like surau and toilets are available inside, which is super convenient. And if you get hungry, there’s plenty of food options like Subway, Tealive, A&W, Famous Amos, and more – so you won’t go starving! Overall, it was a fantastic day out. Highly recommended for families looking to spend quality time together while letting the kids explore and learn through play.”

“My own experience. 1 time visit is enough, definitely no second. Clean and fun place. My princess girl hv so much fun. Just the parents ticket my opinion,is not really worth it. We just follow and take care our children but the charges is abit expensive, unless u have special thing to the parents.”

Overview
KidZania Kuala Lumpur operates as a functioning child-sized city where children rotate through role-play career experiences using the park's own currency (KidZos). Over 60 activities span high-demand spots like AirAsia pilot training and surgery simulations to food production and performance arts. The indoor format is fully air-conditioned. Birthday party facilities are available. Parent admission is charged separately, which some families find less justified given the passive adult role.
