Kuala Lumpur Eco Park
📍 Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur
Tropical rainforest park with elevated skywalks and canopy trails steps from KL Tower. Bring insect repellent and water — the jungle conditions are genuine and some trails become slippery when wet.
I don’t quite understand the negative reviews. You can’t force the animals to show up :) The park is beautiful, with long and well-maintained tree walks. We even got lucky and saw some monkeys! Of course it’s humid and there are insects – it’s like a little jungle in the middle of the city, so bring repellent. Great views of Merdeka and the KL Tower from the park as well.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 5 and up who can handle a humid jungle walk and uneven terrain. The skywalks genuinely excite kids and the city views from the canopy are memorable. Toddlers in prams will struggle on some trail sections. Pack repellent, wear closed shoes, and avoid the red trail after rain.

“Nice walk and break from the busy city. A bit expensive for foreigners but still glad we went. At first we struggled to find the entrance as we tried to go to the KL eco park on Google maps (don't repeat our mistake). Once we found the entrance up top near the KL tower (opposite end of the green fake grayy). It was a great little elevated walk through the trees. We also did another trail in woods which was nice but the red path back up is very slippery when wet so be careful.”

Overview
KL Eco Park delivers a genuine rainforest experience inside the city through elevated walkways and skywalks threading through the tree canopy. The park sits adjacent to KL Tower and is easily combined with a tower visit. Insect repellent and a water bottle are non-negotiable. The red trail becomes dangerously slippery in rain. Wild monkeys are occasionally spotted. The entrance is near the top of the hill by KL Tower — not the location some map apps display.
