Ladang Mini ISB UM
📍 Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur
Free outdoor mini farm at Universiti Malaya staffed by biotech student volunteers. Children interact with goats, rabbits, and sheep up close. Open on designated public days — very sunny, so bring sun protection.
Amazingly CUTE goats. A true sanctuary in the middle of bangsar KL and easy parking. It is indeed in UM, so lots of options of food all around after or before going to the ladang mini. Fully recommend to bring children or teenagers to have fun chats and learn from enthusiastic volunteers all who are UM bio students!! Kudos to the team behind the event and committee, Would definitely return soon.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children of any age who want hands-on animal interaction at no cost. The student guides are knowledgeable and engaging for curious kids. Visit in the morning or late afternoon to avoid peak heat. Teenagers who enjoy learning from university students will get particular value from the guided context.

“Spent a lovely few hours at the Mini Zoo UM with the kids — such a fun and educational outing! They got to meet all kinds of animals up close, and it was heartwarming to see their excitement and curiosity. The weather was definitely on the extra sunny side, but that just added to the adventure. A simple yet meaningful way to spend the day together as a family!”
