ODEON Kuala Lumpur
đ Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur
The former Odeon cinema in Chow Kit has been renovated into an event venue hosting seasonal bazaars, particularly lively during Raya season. No longer screening films. Best visited when a market or event is scheduled.
It's been renovated and it's a great space for events
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families visiting during scheduled market events â particularly the Raya bazaar season when the venue is fully activated with traders and atmosphere. Outside events it offers little for children. Families with older children who enjoy browsing markets and experiencing festival culture will get the most from it.

âVery professional electrical service. The electrician arrived on time, inspected the wiring thoroughly, and performed the repair with precision. Safety checks were done properly, and pricing was transparent. Definitely a trustworthy company.â

âDoing business at the Odeon KL Raya Bazaar is an experience that Kak Sury will never forget. Since March 1, every day from 2 pm to 12 midnight, Kak Sury has camped here with many other traders selling various goods for Raya preparations. The atmosphere is lively, people flock to look for Raya clothes, cakes, and not forgetting ready-to-eat dishes for Ramadan and Syawal. Kak Sury's booth is full of Sambal Sury and Dendeng Daging Sury, and this time there is also Sambal Ikan Talang and Sambal Shake2 Cik Midah which really attracts a lot of attention. It's fun to see old customers coming back, some have bought at TikTok Shop and some are also known from previous events. They not only buy for themselves, but are ready to recommend to their friends. Doing business in the middle of Kuala Lumpur is really challenging. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it's crowded with people, but none of that discourages them. It's satisfying to see customers smiling after getting their sambal and dendeng in stock for Raya. For those who haven't stopped by yet, come to the Odeon KL Raya Bazaar. Kak Sury is here every day until March 30. There is also a RM10 voucher for purchases of RM50 and above. If you come to Jalan TAR, don't forget to stop by.â

Overview
ODEON KL is a renovated heritage cinema building in Chow Kit that now operates as an event and market space. During Raya season it hosts a large bazaar with traders selling clothes, food, and goods from afternoon into late evening. Outside scheduled events the venue has sparse regular programming. The heritage architecture makes it worth a look for families passing through central KL, and it functions as an interesting cultural stop during festival periods.
