I want to give a good review to IOI Popoland for their cleanliness. A few days ago, I brought my sister to play around here and my sister loves it. I saw a few of their staff cleaning the area which makes me feel comfortable of letting my sister play around here. I would love to bring my sister to play again next time!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families who live nearby and plan multiple visits — the annual membership converts what is otherwise an expensive drop-in into good recurring value. The sand pit is genuinely novel and holds attention well. Pack a full change of clothes; sand migrates into everything.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

Annual membership covers three full-day passes plus ongoing discounts — worthwhile for regular visitors

Safety first: I really appreciated the extra safety measure of a double entrance. The lower play area and maze also felt a little safer for the little ones. Awesome ball pit: The ball pit was filled with great colors and even had a unique ball pit balloon boat. The interactive ball toss screen was a nice touch, though it was a bit smaller than those in some other playgrounds. Cool ball gun: My kids had a blast with the ball gun. The pressure was good, and the four-headed, spinning ball-fill-up device was pretty cool. Loved the sandpit: This was a huge hit! I don't think many playgrounds have a sandpit like this, so my kid loved it because it was so new. Creative space and crafts: The rest area/observe area with little tables and chairs was great for parents. They also sell craft toys and DIY dolls, which is a fantastic creative option. Great design and theme: Overall, I just loved the theme design of the place. Weekend extras: The certain events and games during the weekend at 3 pm and 4 pm were a nice surprise and added to the fun factor. Comfortable environment: The air conditioning was good enough, and the environment music was less irritating than at other places. What could be improved Maintenance needed: The lighting was slightly dim, and some of the toys and play tools were spoilt and definitely needed some service or attention. Dirtiness from sand: Because of the sandpit, some areas can get a little dirty, as some others have pointed out. Pricey without membership: The price felt a little expensive at RM35 for one hour, plus the RM5 guardian fee. RM40 for just one hour felt like it should be for 1.5 or even 2 hours. About the membership I think the pricing pushes you towards getting a membership. The standard RM150 membership for one year includes: Three full-day passes. One guardian fee waived for the entire year. 15% off subsequent visits after you've used the three full-day passes. Free entrance during your child's birthday week. For members, the rate is much more reasonable. Your one-hour visit would effectively cost around RM30 (RM35 - 15%), since the guardian fee is waived. They also have a higher-tier membership for two kids, so it's worth checking with the counter staff, who are really helpful with inquiries.

Fun place for the kids! Big area with a ton of balls in the ball pit. Great to see cameras for security. Docking a star mainly due to the pricey-ness. RM 50 for a day, usually most kids stay 2, 3 hours max

Overview

Popoland distinguishes itself with a real sand pit — uncommon in Malaysian indoor playgrounds — alongside a large ball pit containing a balloon boat and an interactive ball-toss screen. A double-entrance security system adds a child-safety layer. Cameras are positioned throughout. The space is large enough to run freely. Annual membership covers three full-day passes plus a discount on subsequent visits, making regular attendance far more economical than walk-in rates.
