Rain Tree Farm . 雨树村莊
📍 Taman Permatang Tinggi Indah, Penang
Outdoor venue combining a playground — tree house, zip line, slides, wall climbing, tyre sculptures — with farm animals and a small lake. On-site pork-free restaurant. Young children spend hours here. Shade coverage is sparse in open sections.
I am trully impressed with the farm. The concept is more on outdoor playground, with a touch of farm/petting zoo. The outdoor playground is spectacular with house tree, kids zip line, slides, wall climbing and sculptured toys made from tyres & wood. On the farm side, the animals are not too many but equally sufficient. There are goats (one with vy bubbly persona haha), cappybara, rabbits, chicken, and alooootttt of ducks, goose & turkey (most of the are caged in the pond). Entry is only RM10/adult and RM5/kids. Its is trully cheap compared to facilities and entertainment provided. I have zero encounter with mosquitoes, but theres red ants around the tree house. A great place to bring ur kids if u need to chill out because kids can play there with minimal supervision, i couldnt think of anything dangerous there, overall is safe. Theres one guardian dog, very friendly and well behaved. A lot of picture perfect area for u to explore. Workers are friendly and kind. The restaurant is pork free but i didnt try it. Love my experience there, owner did a good job in building and maintaining the place, will definitely come again. Even after 3 hours, i had to drag my kids out from the farm, they both loved it there 🩷
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 3–10 who want open-air play combined with animal encounters in a calm environment. Parents enjoy relaxing lakeside as kids burn energy independently. Families expecting extensive animal interaction or adult-oriented facilities may find the offering sparse.
