ROLLERWA Petaling Jaya
📍 Bandar Utama, Perak
Indoor roller skating rink with K-pop music and a lively atmosphere in Bandar Utama. Fun for confident skaters and group outings. Multiple reviews flag inadequate staff supervision and poor incident response — beginners should note this.
As someone who has been to Roller'KA' in penang. I can say in terms of their service its the same. 1U rollerwa is big, but quite boring. Not much obstacle course like a ramp or smtg. Although there's traffic cones. Went to Reollerwa on a weekday, and they currently having sale. RM40 for 2 hrs due to Merdeka promotion. This is a K-themed skate rink. So there will be KPOP songs, periodt. I saw many reviews stating how staff doesn't care about new 'skaters'. This is their SOP, either you slowly learn how to skate with the handrails at the side or you pay them to teach you. It's the same as RollerKA too. They do have an area for you to take pics, like a photobooth area. Ample of place to rest. The locker is RM10 for deposit in cash only and they will return the cash once you're done. But because I went on a non peak hour, I just left my bag on the table. As far as I see there's no 'VIP' area. So everyone will skate on the main floor
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with confident skaters aged 10 and up who want a group outing with a fun atmosphere. Beginners — especially younger children — face a steeper risk given the absence of staff supervision on the rink and reported incident-response issues. Families bringing beginners should supervise closely and consider bringing wrist guards.

“I have to agree with the safety concerns raised by other patrons. It would be great if they had at least one staff member patrolling the skating rink. The skating experience itself was pretty fun, and there are some really nice spots to discover. However, I think offering a 1-hour option would be a good idea, as 2 hours can feel a bit long for adults just looking to give it a try.”

“First time here, i think the aircond should be a blast because i was sweating but overall its a fun activity to do as a team building! Loving the environment. Unfortunately, a hazard happened at the waiting area. My colleague fell and hit her head really loud due to slippery floor. The mat that prevents fall is scattered everywhere. I reckoned there should be mats covered at the waiting area to prevent incidents like this. Correct me if i’m wrong but the staffs are not fully trained. The fall was really loud. My team who were the ones who rushed to her rescue. Staffs just stared and there was only one who responded. We were only asked if we needed an ambulance but at the moment, there should be a procedure or an action done by staffs if things were to happen.”

“A fun experience, but not beginner friendly ( equipment is not completely safe and you just no idea how to skate esp if you're a beginner) Skate once and you're done. More expensive than the price I paid.”
