1 / 3Ruza Agrotech (Agrotourism)
π Lunas, Kedah
Expansive multi-phase agrotourism site with a children's swimming pool, mini zoo, camping area, and orchards. Buggy transfers run between phases. Animal welfare and maintenance notes are widely noted in recent reviews.
Open everyday from 8 am -10pm. Lot of free parking spacesinside. π― recommended! Bring your family, children, friends, partner or even date with yourself here. Huge places with plenty of interesting attractions to discover. Full of orchards and animals, with many booths to take great photos. Rm15 for phase 1,2&4 and rm10 for phase 1&2 only, price for july 2023. We had a lot of fun here. Great for taking your children as they can play with animals and learn about farming and trees. Great if you love walking too, donβt worry they do offer buggy service for free from phase to phase. but you still need to walk a bit inside every phase. I love petting zoo, tree house and you also can see camels here π pet the cats and horses too, they want your love β€οΈ lots of booths that have great potential once this place finished renovating. they will offer homestay and rooms to stay as well! do check it out!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for budget-conscious families with young children who want a large outdoor venue with a kids swimming pool as the centrepiece. The extensive grounds and low pricing are genuine positives.

βPersonal reviews based on my visit on Jan 2nd, 2023 Pros: - Ample car parking spaces. - Cheap entrance fees: RM5/person (petting zoo), RM1/person/trip for 'tram' between entrance and attractions. - Has potential, saw a lot of construction going on for more attractions. - Very spacious, good for family activities, and enjoying countryside vibes. - Many spots good for taking pictures. - Many plants, if you like them π€£. Cons - Entrance and activities uses coupon system, sold in bundle of RM12, RM15, RM20, RM30 & RM50. Extra coupon are not exchangeable back to cash (might have extras after your visit is finished). They said there's no expiry date on the coupons, but the expiry date is stamped at the back of the coupon (2028 in our case). - Petting Zoo is a bit misleading, since none of the animals can be pet. All of them are kept in cages. Most of them seems slightly underfed (maybe, I'm no animal expert). Overall: Would be interested to visit again when everything is completed, to fully enjoy the experience. May Allah eases everything.β

βA simple and budget services. This area was so big of the area that divided into 6 phase of their area. We need to wait for buggy to go to our selected checkpoint. So called buggy but its an innovate used car @ serena car used to send us at every checkpoint. I bring my family here during weekdays. Target to phase 5 where kids swimming pool available here now. If you arrived here, just search ruza agrotech kulim. Then go their counter ticket to select phase option. Kids friednly were phase 2 (indoor playground and phase 5 (kids swimming pool). You may check at my photo uploaded, management may take serious on severals equipment and tools that open for kids usage. Cleanliness and hygiene were quite bad seems I came on monday. Supposedly they re actively do cleaning @ minor maintenance to technical part but I can said the condition for certain tools/equipments are pro long with stagnant condition. Parking to me its quite big seems I dont know how if the area during peak hour @ days. Thank you.β

βRuza Agrotech has a beautiful setting with a lot of potential, but unfortunately it isnβt well maintained. At the moment, the childrenβs swimming pool seems to be the main attraction. Thereβs also a mini zoo and a camping site, which could be really enjoyable if the place was upgraded and properly taken care of. If the management focuses on improving and upgrading each phase step by step, rather than opening too many phases at once, this place could become a much more attractive destination.β

Overview
Ruza Agrotech spreads across six phases connected by buggy transfers. Phase 5 has a children's swimming pool and Phase 2 holds an indoor playground. The site also includes a mini zoo, orchard walks, and camping facilities. Budget entry via coupon packs makes it accessible. Significant maintenance shortfalls and animal welfare notes are documented in multiple recent reviews β conditions appear to fall short of what the scale of the site promises.
