Starship Galatica

Starship Galatica at 1 Utama's new wing offers a paid indoor playground with 3-hour sessions. Convenient for families already at the mall, the venue is compact and feels dated compared to newer competitors.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Families already shopping at 1 Utama who need a convenient energy outlet for young children will find this the most practical option in the mall. It is a convenience play stop, not a destination worth a special trip. Clarify all admission charges upfront, particularly for babies. Skip the on-site food and eat elsewhere in the mall.

“Visited 3 times! This is the best and most cost-efficient playground at 1 Utama - RM47 weekday/ RM49 weekends. We’ve tried places like NextGen Theme Park, but Starship Galactica feels more practical for regular visits. The 3-hour playtime is just perfect - honestly, who wants to play all day? It’s more than enough for kids to burn energy without getting overtired. Price is reasonable, activities are fun, and it’s very convenient while shopping in the mall. Still our top choice every time we come here!”

“Decent place and convenient inside the new wing of 1Utama. The place is not very big but it is well done and clean. At 47RM for 3 hours, its expensive compared to bigger and better places. So come here for the convenience.”
💬 What parents mention
Overview
Starship Galatica occupies a section of 1 Utama's new wing and has operated for several years without significant refurbishment. The 3-hour session structure suits families who want defined play time rather than open-ended visits. The space is smaller than dedicated standalone playgrounds. On-site food has drawn criticism for quality and hygiene - one reviewer noted food preparation without gloves.
