TGV Sunway Putra
📍 Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur
TGV Sunway Putra shows mainstream and local Malay films in Sunway Putra Mall. Staff are consistently praised for going the extra mile with families and international visitors. Bring a jacket — air conditioning runs extremely cold across all halls.
The staffs were friendly and very good in assisting their customers! It was a memorable experience! Will come back again and again. Truly sorry for not mentioning the staffs' name. Forgot to ask. All in all, good job!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children who enjoy local animated and Malay-language films alongside mainstream releases. Staff are reliably helpful for international visitors and first-timers who may struggle with the unnumbered screen layout. Pack an extra layer — the air conditioning is genuinely arctic across every hall.

“Had a bad experience trying to book a ticket for the wicked movie and received no help. The staff seemed like they wanted to get rid of us since we only speak english. BUT! I went back a second time and had the pleasure of speaking to Arul that explained to me when the tickets for the movie will be available, what the different options meant; imax, indulge etc. He really gave great customer service so he deserves credit!”

Overview
TGV Sunway Putra's staff reputation is its strongest asset — multiple reviews describe staff who patiently explained booking processes in English, assisted first-timers, and turned bad experiences around. Local titles including Ejen Ali and Papa Zola screen here alongside international releases. Navigation is the main friction point: screens are not numbered on signage or tickets, so guests need to ask staff for directions to their specific hall.
