My last trip to the zoo was 13 years ago plus minus 1 year.. and boy.. how the zoo has improved. Tickets cost more nowadays. At RM45 for Malaysian adults. But I enjoyed every minute of my time at the zoo. The animals look so healthy and there have been many new additions. Loved my recent experience..may come again soon..

Zoo was awesome and you have enough to spend a whole day there. Getting in was a challenge as the queue was very long despite booking tickets online. Had to wait more than 1 hr just to get the tickets to wrap around the wrists.

Great zoo very big and lots of animals. The price on a website was lower but you need to book in advance.

Overview

Zoo & Park Ulu Klang KL has expanded and improved substantially over the past decade. The grounds are spacious with tree coverage that moderates the heat. Animal welfare has improved visibly — most animals appear healthy and active. The aquarium focuses on tropical freshwater species. Long entry queues are a consistent complaint even for online ticket holders; the wristband process adds further time. Bring an umbrella and a small fan for afternoon visits.
