Blastacars delivers drift karting — not standard go-karting — on a purpose-built track inside a Sungei Wang Plaza parking level. Eight corners, multiple lap sessions, and more powerful kart options available.

Not a typical go-kart experience, as this is drifting karting—and it’s a lot of fun. The kart slides through almost every corner, even with the less powerful engines, though I’d recommend choosing the more powerful ones. The drifting sensation inevitably makes you smile. There are eight turns in total, if I remember correctly. The track is a bit short for my taste (around 25–30 seconds per lap with the less powerful karts that can go up to 50 km/h), but it’s still very enjoyable. The karts themselves don’t seem mistreated. As for safety, however, we were only given unstable bicycle helmets, which I don’t think are sufficient. Price is OK.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Older kids and teens who want something beyond standard go-karting will find the drift mechanics genuinely engaging. The Sungei Wang Plaza location makes it convenient for families already in the Bukit Bintang area.

Whoever the owner is. He's a really great guy that knows his stuff. Drift and circuit. I have raced in regional karting competitions 10 years ago at age 17 in Pacific South Western British Columbia Canada. This is my first time learning drift karting and I would love to bring this back home with me. If I ever come back to Malaysia. Im coming back here looking for the owner to teach me circuit racing.

Pretty cool spot and great utilization of a parking spot on the 5th floor. Take the elevator up and it’s literally the parking lot. Great place for the kids to hangout in case they don’t want to do the base camp on the lower level. Worth a try if you have kids and are in the area.

Although a bit pricey, overall it was a good experience and we had fun. Some might think 10 minutes is short, but at this go-kart track, it actually feels long and includes many laps. Enjoyed it!

Overview

Blastacars occupies the 5th floor of Sungei Wang Plaza's car park, converting the space into a drift karting circuit with eight turns. The karts slide through corners rather than grip them, producing a distinctly different experience from conventional go-karting. More powerful kart options intensify the drift mechanics. Sessions run multiple laps within the time slot. The track is shorter than dedicated outdoor circuits. Helmet quality has been flagged by some experienced drivers.
