đ Family Action Verdict
Suited for families already exploring George Town on foot who want a quick photo stop and a moment to rest. Children who need space to run or play will find it too small. Families making a special trip purely for this park will likely find it underwhelming â pair it with the surrounding heritage streets, street art, and nearby cafes.

âNot big. Located in the middle of busy streets. It's nice to sit on the grass at noon bc of how breezy it is. Love it.â

Overview
Friendship Park sits on Farquhar Street in George Town and is best known for the I Love Penang monument, a popular photo stop for visitors. The park is small, bordered by busy streets with continuous traffic noise. Benches and grass areas allow brief rests. The park is best treated as a five-to-fifteen minute stop during a broader George Town walk rather than a standalone destination.
