Penang Bowl
📍 Georgetown, Penang
A well-maintained 16-lane bowling alley in Georgetown with sea views from the rear of the venue. Friendly, helpful staff. House balls have sparse finger-hole sizes — smaller hands fit better than larger ones.
Nice bowling place with many lanes. Unfortunately i came during a time where a group was having an event and had most of the lanes blocked. The back of those place you get a great view of the sea. The ambience of this place is really nice and its worth a visit.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with primary-school-age children and adults who want a clean, relaxed bowling session with a scenic bonus. The friendly staff make first-time young bowlers feel welcome. Families with large hands should plan around the house ball sizing limitation.

“Clean and bright alley with bouncy pins🎳😁 tho house balls are not as good. Finger holes maybe too small for some. even during weekdays it could be full of people especially in the afternoon”

“Nice bowling place, clean and well maintained lanes and seating area. Prices are good as well, especially on weekdays. Would recommend buying the hourly rate if in smaller groups as you can go as many times as you like during that one hour instead of having to pay per game. The staff were nice and helpful. The balls were a little greasy (perhaps not that regularly cleaned) but it wasn’t too bad, the bathroom had sinks where you could wash your hands after and they were quite clean as well. Food also available from a small snack shop, didn’t try any personally but it looks not bad. Will definitely be visiting again.”

Overview
Penang Bowl runs 16 clean, well-lit lanes in Georgetown with the bonus of a sea view from the back of the venue. Lane surfaces are regularly maintained and pins reset reliably. House balls are serviceable and finger holes skew small — reviewers with larger hands find them uncomfortable. Staff are consistently described as courteous. Weekday pricing is lower and lanes are more available; afternoon weekdays remains see solid demand.
