SkyBridge @The TOP Penang
π George Town, Penang
A glass skywalk experience on the 65th floor of The TOP Penang with panoramic views of George Town. Enhanced safety measures now make it a guided experience rather than an extreme sport. Packages include the observatory deck and aquarium.
i couldnβt go to the skybridge because i was wearing a skirt lol, but thatβs on me. you can buy the tickets online. i got mine for rm68 for 5 attractions including entry to the top penang. rainbow skywalk, observatory deck, sky bridge, jurassic research center, and top boutique aquarium. itβs fun if you have kids or if youβre going on a date, but donβt expect too much. the place isnβt super well maintained, but itβs still one of a kind. itβs walkable from a few hotels and cafes, though traffic can get really heavy during rush hour.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children who want impressive city views from a verified height without extreme sport elements. The current guided format is reassuring for parents with nervous children. Families expecting the original harness-walk format should know it no longer exists β the experience is now view-focused.

βGreat place for kids and adults. I bought a 60 ringgit ticket that takes you to the top and you can do the harness 180 walk around the building.β

βBought the ticket for access on the 65th (observatory and skywalk) and 68th (rooftop) floors. RM 78 seems to be overpriced given the experience I've got. For the skywalk experience, it's more like a guided tour unlike what is advertised. It used to be bordering extreme sport activity where the safety harness used wasn't as stringent as it is now (late 2025) and the safety fence wasn't installed. Perhaps there were some close call in the past that prompted the management to implement such measures.β

Overview
SkyBridge at The TOP Penang delivers sweeping views of George Town from the 65th floor via a glass walkway. Recent safety upgrades replaced the harness-based extreme format with a fenced guided walkway β a change that divides reviewers. Those who visited expecting an adrenaline activity were disappointed; those who came for views and a family-accessible height experience rate it highly. Package tickets combine multiple attractions across the building.
