Kuala Lumpur Sports City
📍 Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur
KL Sports City in Bukit Jalil hosts a jogging track, skatepark, futsal courts, and outdoor gym. The complex is well-lit after dark and remains active past sunset, making it a reliable evening destination.
One of the frequent comers here to jog. Best spot to run at night, since Taman Bukit Jalil closes early. There are also futsal court, skate park, convenient stores, vending machines (which always do not work), and outdoor gym. Overall maintenance is okay. I suggest the management team to put up a set of calisthenic bars there too. It'd be wonderful if we have one since it is Stadium Nasional. Positively, please take this into consideration 🙌🏽
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Families with school-age children and teens seeking evening outdoor sport will find this complex well-suited. The jogging track works for all fitness levels, the skatepark engages teens, and the futsal courts suit competitive older kids. Families with toddlers have fewer dedicated options here — it skews toward active sport rather than play.

“Great space to have your events. Was here for the Honda 1 million celebration event. There's enough space for 3 huge covered car showrooms, a food truck area and a fun fair.”

“it's All Asian vs MU. The organiser myticketempire was very poor in managing the crowd as the more than half of ticket holders was still queueing out of the stadium near at 8.30 pm nearing the kick off time.”

Overview
KL Sports City wraps a range of sporting facilities around the Axiata Arena — jogging tracks, skateparks, futsal courts, an outdoor gym, and convenience stores. Security guards are present and the track remains brightly lit after dark, making evening sessions genuinely safe. Vending machines on-site are frequently out of service. During major events the venue manages large crowds, and entry and queue management have drawn criticism.
