Gunung Lang Community Park
📍 Ipoh, Perak
A community park in Ipoh offering structured rock climbing courses on limestone formations up to 26m high. All equipment provided. Park roadside parking only.
Great place for rock climbing. You can find a variety of interesting routes range from 5c to 7b here. Easily accessible from the main road but you have to park your car at the road side. No toilet and washing facilities in this area, you'll have to enter the main park on the other side (less than 10 minutes walk) if you really need to use the toilet. Monkeys are roaming around the park, so don't leave your belongings unattended.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and teens who want a structured outdoor climbing challenge rather than a passive park visit. The two-level course structure with certification gives children a clear progression goal. Instructors are supportive and encouraging throughout. Young children and toddlers cannot participate in climbing.
