Illusion 3D Art Museum
📍 City Centre, Perak
A 3D art museum on the second floor of Central Market Annex, Ipoh, with wall-sized optical illusion paintings designed for participatory photography. Staff suggest angles and take photos. Allow 90 minutes to two hours.
The museum is full of fun and creative 3D art – perfect for taking unique photos 📸 But what really made the visit special was the incredibly kind lady at the entrance. She kindly offered to help take pictures, showed me the best spots and angles, and was super welcoming throughout. Big thanks for her warmth and professionalism! Definitely recommend this place 🙌🏼
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 5 and up who enjoy silly, creative photography together. The staff involvement makes it easy for families unfamiliar with 3D art venues to get quality shots without trial and error. Families expecting a conventional art museum experience will find this purely interactive and photo-driven.

“If you likes taking pictures or videos. I recommended you to come here with your family, friends and couple. We had so much fun and spent time exploring and taking pictures almost 2 hours and half. It's fun. The building located behind central market at Central Market Annex @2nd floor. Easy to access via Pasar Seni LRT/MRT, it's just a walking distance.”

“Very interesting and fun place to spend an hour. Plenty of different 3d images you can take pictures of. All designed to be more effective with another person in the shot. Nice staff, very helpful with suggestions to get the best possible picture. Very reasonably priced, especially for us older folk and well worth a visit!”

“Its ok to visit this place. Its has some wall painting made in a way that you can be a part of it and get some pic clicked. Notjing like a actual illution. Not a must visit place and can be skipped. Also i have booked from klook and it costed me 1300 for two looking into the cost i would not recommend this place. Also online sites will say that you need to bring some id, but for my case no one asked for any id.”

Overview
Illusion 3D Art Museum fills multiple rooms with large-format 3D paintings where visitors step into the compositions for photos. The illusions are designed for group shots — the effect works best with two or more people in frame. Staff actively help position visitors and suggest the best angles, which makes the experience more accessible for families who aren't experienced with this format. Air conditioning is inconsistent — some rooms run cold as others have units switched off.
