1 / 3MAMEE Jonker House
π Melaka, Melaka
A nostalgic, interactive stop on Jonker Street that delights kids and adults alike. Families love the DIY noodle cup decorating, brand history exhibits, and Mamee-inspired cafe menu.
Wow, this place was as great as advertised. Located in a Chinese-style βrailroadβ type house with a large courtyard and garden seating area, the place is simply stunning. However, the food is even better. I tried the Greek lamb burger with home fries and my wife had the lemongrass chicken burger with sweet potato fries. We also got a flight of three draught beers, two of which - an Irish brown ale and a wheat ale- are brewed by the family who runs the restaurant. Both home brews were super tasty and smooth, and the third, the Brewdog Hazy Jane (from Scotland) has already been one of our favorite imports for a while, though we rarely can find it on draught in Malaysia. We both highly recommend this beautifully unique, serene and delicious dining experience in Melaka.
π Family Action Verdict
Mamee Jonker House is a brilliant pick for families with children of all ages, especially those who grew up with the iconic Mamee brand. The DIY cup-decorating activity is a particular hit with younger kids, as adults enjoy the nostalgic brand history exhibits.

βA really fun and enjoyable stop during our visit to Melaka! Mamee Jonker House is much more than just a shop. It is an interactive experience that both adults and children can enjoy together. From learning about the history of the iconic Mamee brand to exploring the various exhibits and activities, there was something interesting around every corner. The highlight for our family was how hands-on and engaging everything was. The kids were excited throughout the visit, while the adults enjoyed the nostalgia of seeing products and memories from our childhood. It is one of those rare attractions that genuinely appeals to multiple generations. The atmosphere is lively, colourful and family friendly. There are plenty of photo opportunities, interesting displays and, of course, lots of Mamee snacks to browse and purchase. The staff were welcoming and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. What I liked most was that it was educational without feeling boring. The exhibits are presented in a fun and accessible way, making it easy for children to stay engaged while adults appreciate the brandβs history and journey. Whether you are travelling with young children, teenagers, friends or even just as a couple, Mamee Jonker House is a great place to spend some time while exploring Jonker Street. It offers a nice break from the usual sightseeing and adds a unique local touch to your Melaka itinerary. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a fun, interactive and memorable experience in Melaka. Definitely worth a visit!β

βThis is one hidden gem of Melaka. The Mamee House. You can get the new flavor of Mamee here and there are a lot of souveniers you can purchase from the place. Last time we wanted to see the process of making mamee but sadly we arrived at evening where it wasnt available anymore. But still, a great experience since I never knew there were a lot of other flavors here. They sell cute plushies too!β

βGimmicky place that sells many touristy mechanised and food. The magnets look nice though. We fell into the tourist trap and bought one. Our kids did the DIY colour the mamee instant noodle bowl and they enjoyed themselves. Still with a visit but don't expect too muchβ

Overview
Housed in a traditional shophouse on Jonker Street, MAMEE Jonker House combines interactive exhibits with hands-on activities including Noodle Doodle, where kids decorate and customise their own Mamee Chef noodle cup to take home. The Lil Monster Kitchen lets children discover how Mamee Monster snacks are made, as the cafe serves creative dishes using Mamee noodles as a base, alongside Malaysian favourites like cendol, chicken rice balls, and nasi lemak. A merchandise store rounds out the visit.
